Carla Aouad is a Lebanese artist investigating the material residue of systemic collapse. Working across video installation, sculpture, and performance, she treats the "after-life" of objects and ecologies as forensic evidence of displacement. Her practice employs a rhizomatic logic - connecting the fragment and the chorus, the living and the absent - to deconstruct the tension between the intimacy of the archive and the distance of the witness.
A 2025 graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Marseille (DNSEP), awarded a special distinction for her video work, Aouad lives and works between Marseille and Beirut.
