Carla Aouad is a Lebanese image maker who weaves visual poetry at the crossroads of reality and fiction.
After completing a master’s degree in art direction at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts and a subsequent career in communication, she fully shifted her focus toward visual and artistic practices, leading her to joining the Samandal collective and co-founding a drawing concert collective in Beirut. She received a Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique in Art from the Beaux-Arts de Marseille in 2025, with a special mention for her video work.
Her practice, which includes installation, video art, visual performances, graphic design and illustration, transforms porous narratives and personal archives into suspended emotional landscapes.
Currently based between Beirut and Marseille.
