Carla Aouad is a Lebanese visual artist based in Marseille. She treats the after-life of objects, words, and memory, and the material residues of systemic collapse. Her practice follows a rhizomatic logic: stretching and degrading digital, material, and oral archives, shifting the gaze from symptom to form, and connecting fragment and chorus, the living and the absent.

A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Marseille, her hybrid work has been presented through performances at Beirut Art Center and the Sursock Museum, in a publication with The Mosaic Rooms, and in a group exhibition at La Friche la Belle de Mai.
