Based on a study of 3 conversations recollecting distressing events, the work re-visits the three major processes involved in remembering:
- Encoding through interviews and witness statements,
- Storage through digital mediums and tangible evidence,
- Retrieval of information through edited narratives.
Centering around the indelible subjectivity, the indelible pain and the indelible distortion of memory, the narration stripped from the experienced context, becomes a jigsaw of information, senses and emotions that lacks the causality but retains the stress.
